Musicians: RIDUAN YUSOFF (Pianist / Singer)

Riduan started learning piano at the age of 6 years old. He acquired his music skills from his late piano teacher, Pak Wandly Yazid. Later Riduan’s passion for his musical pursuit continued to grow. With no mentor and without any formal musical training, Riduan soaks up every learning opportunity intuitively, mostly self-taught. Every challenge in the learning process was dealt with determination and perseverance. Since at the age of 15, Riduan started performing in local clubs and restaurants as a pianist/keyboardist with acoustic as well as big bands.

At 19, Riduan was given the opportunity to be part of a band sessioning for a lot of artist for a one time show during Sinaran Hati Gemilang on 9 Jan 2010 when he was on 2nd keyboard for the live telecast performance. He continue sessioning for independent local artists with live music performances, artist such as local band Fatskunks, Hyrul Anuar, Hetty Sarlene, Thaqif, Didi Cazil, Aqmal N, Zaibaktian.

Recently, Riduan partner up with Redream Studios as a composer and arranger. They had successfully produced 2 short flim which one of it in 2012 won an award for outstanding picture during 3RD Creative Video Awards(CVA). They also worked on other projects such as coporate videos, shortflims etc.

Today, Riduan is heavily involved with night live music performing 6 nights weekly at venue such as Fullerton Bay hotel, St Regis hotel, Clarke Quay etc. During his free time he enjoy writing music in his home studio.
